Pledge2Help is a platform that connects campaign creators with supporters and donors. We provide tools and services to facilitate fundraising campaigns, but we do not process or handle any financial transactions.

3. Account Creation and Registration

  • Handling all financial transactions through their connected payment accounts

We do not guarantee campaign success or verify the use of funds.

6. Content Guidelines

All content posted on our platform must:

  • Be accurate and truthful
  • Not violate any laws or regulations
  • Not infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Not contain hate speech or discriminatory content
  • Not be spam or misleading
  • Respect the privacy of others

We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove content that violates our policies or applicable laws.

7. Prohibited Activities

The following types of campaigns are strictly prohibited on our platform:

  • Illegal Activities: Campaigns for illegal purposes, criminal activities, or violations of law
  • Fraudulent Campaigns: Campaigns with false or misleading information about the cause, beneficiary, or use of funds
  • Personal Financial Gain: Campaigns primarily for personal enrichment, business investments, or profit-making ventures
  • Gambling or Games of Chance: Campaigns involving gambling, lotteries, or games of chance
  • Violence or Harm: Campaigns promoting violence, hate speech, discrimination, or harm to individuals or groups
  • Unauthorized Fundraising: Campaigns for organizations or causes without proper authorization
  • Political Campaigns: Campaigns for political candidates, parties, or political lobbying activities
  • Adult Content: Campaigns involving adult entertainment, pornography, or sexually explicit content
  • Counterfeit Goods: Campaigns for counterfeit, pirated, or illegal goods
  • Unauthorized Use of Intellectual Property: Campaigns that infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
  • Medical Procedures: Campaigns for experimental or unapproved medical procedures
  • Debt Relief: Campaigns for personal debt repayment or credit card debt
  • Legal Fees: Campaigns for legal fees related to criminal cases or civil lawsuits
  • Unauthorized Business Ventures: Campaigns for business startups without proper business plans or authorization

We reserve the right to review and remove any campaign that violates these prohibitions or that we determine to be inappropriate, harmful, or in violation of our policies.

9. Campaign Requirements and Standards

All campaigns must meet the following requirements:

  • Accurate Information: All campaign information must be truthful, accurate, and not misleading
  • Clear Purpose: Campaigns must have a clear, specific purpose and beneficiary
  • Legitimate Cause: Campaigns must be for legitimate charitable, personal, or community causes
  • Proper Authorization: Campaign creators must have proper authorization to fundraise for the stated cause
  • Transparency: Campaign creators must be transparent about how funds will be used
  • Compliance: Campaigns must comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • No Duplicate Campaigns: Multiple campaigns for the same cause by the same organizer are not allowed
  • Appropriate Content: Campaign content must be appropriate and not contain offensive or harmful material

We may require additional verification or documentation for certain types of campaigns.

10. No Donor Protection Guarantee

IMPORTANT: Pledge2Help does not offer a donor protection guarantee or refund program. Unlike some other fundraising platforms, we do not provide:

  • Guaranteed refunds for failed or fraudulent campaigns
  • Protection against campaign creator misconduct
  • Insurance against fund misuse or misappropriation
  • Verification of campaign legitimacy or beneficiary authenticity
  • Guarantees that funds will be used as intended
  • Protection against campaign cancellation or suspension

Your Responsibility: As a donor, you are solely responsible for:

  • Verifying the legitimacy of campaigns before donating
  • Researching campaign creators and beneficiaries
  • Understanding how your donation will be used
  • Accepting the risk that funds may not be used as intended
  • Never donating more than you can afford to lose

We strongly recommend conducting thorough research and due diligence before making any donations.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using the Service, you consent to:

  • Collection of account information and usage data
  • Use of cookies and tracking technologies
  • Sharing of data with third-party service providers

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pledge2Help, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:

  • Your use of the Service

  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Your content or campaign activities
  • Any misrepresentation made by you
  • Your failure to comply with applicable laws or regulations

This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of these Terms and your use of the Service.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

  • Creation of prohibited campaign types
  • Misrepresentation or fraud in campaign creation

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pledge2Help operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through:

  • Binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules
  • Court proceedings only as a last resort

You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within our jurisdiction for any legal proceedings.
