Pledge2Help is an innovative fundraising platform that turns social media engagement into automatic donation triggers. Users create conditional pledges like "I'll donate $1 for every Facebook like" and our community-based honor system tracks engagement progress.
How do I create my first pledge?
To create a pledge, sign up for an account, browse available campaigns, and click "Create Pledge." Set your conditions (e.g., $1 per like), choose a maximum cap, and connect your social media accounts for automatic tracking.
What types of campaigns can I support?
We support various campaign types including medical expenses, community projects, nonprofit fundraising, personal causes, and awareness campaigns. All campaigns are verified before going live.
Conditional Pledging
How do conditional pledges work?
Conditional pledges automatically trigger based on social media engagement. For example, if you pledge "$1 per Facebook like" and your post gets 100 likes, your potential donation is $100. You can set maximum caps to control your total commitment.
Which social media platforms are supported?
We support Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Each platform tracks different metrics like likes, comments, shares, views, and follows.
Can I set multiple conditions for one pledge?
Yes! You can create complex pledges with multiple conditions. For example, "$1 per Facebook like, $2 per Instagram comment, and $5 per YouTube view" all contributing to the same campaign.
What happens if I reach my maximum pledge amount?
Once you reach your maximum cap, no additional engagement will increase your pledge amount. You can still fulfill your pledge at any time up to that maximum.
Campaign Creation
How do I start a fundraising campaign?
To create a campaign, sign up and click "Start a Campaign." Fill out campaign details including name, description, goal amount, timeline, and beneficiary information. Add compelling images and set your privacy settings.
What information do I need to provide?
You'll need: campaign name and description, goal amount, start/end dates, beneficiary information, campaign type, and images. You can also add social media links and video content.
Can I edit my campaign after publishing?
Yes, you can edit most campaign details while it's active. However, some changes like beneficiary information may require admin approval for security reasons.
How long can my campaign run?
Campaigns can run from 1 day to 1 year. Most successful campaigns run for 30-90 days. You can extend or shorten the timeline before the campaign ends.
Payment & Security
How secure are payments on Pledge2Help?
We use industry-standard encryption and secure payment processors. All financial transactions are processed through trusted third-party services with PCI DSS compliance. We never store your full payment information.
When do I need to fulfill my pledge?
You can fulfill your pledge at any time: immediately, at milestones, or when the campaign ends. We'll send reminders, but the timing is entirely up to you.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.
Are there any fees for using Pledge2Help?
Pledge2Help charges no platform fees. We rely on optional tips from users to support our operations. 100% of your pledge amount goes directly to the campaign beneficiary.
Social Media Integration
How does social media tracking work?
Our platform operates on a community-based honor system where users report their social media engagement metrics. Users update their pledge progress as engagement grows, maintaining accountability through community transparency.
Do I need to share my social media passwords?
No! We use secure OAuth connections that don't require your passwords. You simply authorize our app to access public engagement data from your posts.
What if someone manually likes my post multiple times?
Our system detects and filters out duplicate engagement from the same user. We also have fraud detection systems to ensure fair and accurate tracking.
Can I track engagement on old posts?
Yes, you can track engagement on existing posts. Simply link the post URL when creating your pledge, and we'll start tracking from that point forward.
Account & Privacy
How do I create an account?
Click "Sign Up" and provide your email address, create a password, and verify your email. You can also sign up using your Google or Facebook account for convenience.
Can I use Pledge2Help anonymously?
While you need an account to create pledges or campaigns, you can browse campaigns and read content without signing up. Your personal information is protected and never shared without permission.
How do I update my profile information?
Go to your dashboard and click on "Profile Settings." You can update your name, email, profile picture, and social media connections at any time.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, you can deactivate or delete your account from your profile settings. Note that deleting your account will remove all your data and cannot be undone.
